Gluten-Free Finds
Do you know anyone with Celiac Disease? Ask them how hard it is to find good food in the area they live in. It’s tough. Some places offer gluten-free items, but contamination occurs due to improper storage and handling. It’s a nightmare for people who want to enjoy a date night or treat themselves to a relaxing evening only to end up in the bathroom begging for mercy from the GI gods. besti gives users a way to find truly gluten-free restaurants, or those that take things seriously and purposefully create GF items.
I’ll give you an example. Say you’re visiting gorgeous Portland, OR and need something healthy and delicious, without any chance of an allergic reaction.
Type in “Gluten Free” and you’ll see The Whole Bowl.
They have multiple locations and a very reasonably priced, albeit incredibly short, menu.
From their website: “All bowls are nut, gluten, wheat, hydrogenated oil and guilt free and come with brown rice, black and red beans, avocado, cilantro, black olives, Tillamook cheddar, sour cream, salsa and Tali Sauce. Vegan? Simply ask your Bowlista to “veganize” it!”

Are you on the other side of the country? Red Bank, NJ, perhaps? You’ll want to try KITCH Organic
100% organic, free-range, gluten, wheat and dairy-free spot for breakfast and lunch. Look at that Avocado toast…..

Where are your favorite spots for GF food? Add them to besti and let me know!
