• Messages you send in place chat, so we can suggest spots.
• Basic usage information, such as pages you visit and searches you run.

How we use it

• Provide the service, including accounts, search, and maps.
• Recommend places, including with help from AI.
• Understand how the site is used and measure advertising.
• Email you about your account, such as confirmation and password reset.
• Keep the service safe and moderate content.

AI

We use OpenAI to help recommend places and improve search. If you use chat, your messages may be sent to OpenAI for that purpose. Please do not share sensitive personal information in chat.

Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal information. We use these providers to run the service:

• Supabase, for accounts and storing your data.
• OpenAI, for place recommendations and search.
• Mapbox, for maps and addresses.
• Google, for sign-in and advertising on the website.
• Apple, for Sign in with Apple.

We use cookies to keep you signed in and for advertising and analytics on the website.

How long we keep it

We keep your account and content while your account is active, and as needed to run the service or meet legal duties.

Your choices

You can browse without an account, and you can decline location access. To request a copy, a correction, or deletion of your data, email contact@besti.us.

Children

besti is not directed at children under 13.
